The Paiste Cymbals Scholarship, generously sponsored by The Paiste Cymbal Company will be awarded in Fall 2012 to students (US or non-US citizens) enrolling in the Associate of Arts in Performance (Drums) program who demonstrate a mature musical approach, with an emphasis on expressive cymbal technique.
The scholarship is applicable for students enrolled in the Drum performance program only, and may not be transferred to “non-performance program” emphases (Audio Engineering, Music Business, Independent Artist, Guitar Craft, or Film) within an AA degree.
Award

$1,000.00 tuition credit applied to the first quarter of the program.
One set of new Paiste cymbals (Ride, Hi hat, 2 Crash Cymbals).

Eligibility
To be considered for the Paiste Cymbals Scholarship, you must take the following steps:

Complete a Paiste Cymbals Scholarship application.
Submit a video recording (DVD format only) of you performing three (3) songs in any genre on the drum set. It is recommended that this include two (2) live ensemble (band or duo) performances, and one (1) drum solo performance.

For Programs Beginning: Fall 2012
Deadline is: August 24, 2012
Incomplete or late submissions will not be considered.
Requirements & Checklist:

Enrolled in the Drum performance program ONLY.
Associate of Arts in Performance (Drums) program (US or non-US citizen).
Complete a Paiste Cymbals Scholarship application.
