VU Graduate School of Economics and Business is offering talented candidates the unique opportunity to win 1 of the 2 scholarships for taking part in our highly renowned Master’s programme STREEM.
Two scholarships will be awarded for this programme in the academic year 2011/2012. The scholarship will be open to high potential candidates from all nationalities who are interested in pursuing a world class graduate education in the fields of Spatial, Transport and Environmental Economics. For more information on the programme. Two scholarships valued at €10,000 each are offered for outstanding candidates who have been admitted to our Master’s programme in Spatial, Transport and Environmental Economics. VU Graduate School of Economics will support these successful candidates for 1 year of studies. The winner is responsible for all other expenses incurred during his/her study at VU University Amsterdam (e.g. housing, course materials and living expenses).
Eligibility:
Only applicants with at least a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited foreign university.
Candidates must have a non-Dutch nationality and be normally resident outside the Netherlands.
The general criteria for selection are excellence, motivation and extracurricular activities.

Do not obtain any funding/scholarship from other organizations/institutes in the academic year 2011/2012
Be fluent in English and have a more than satisfactory score in an English proficiency test as IELTS or TOEFL
Cumulative Grade Point Average (or GPA) of at least 80
